I havent taken a pic yet but i was looking for some info on an antique corvette cast iron toy. Its a 1950spurple vette about 1/12-1/16 in scale the hood and i think the trunk open not sure on the doors. The engine is a straight six but its just a molded piece of plastic insert. Im guessing its from the mid to late 50s.

I don't think it's cast Iron, maybe diecast? My first thought was the Hubley Corvette but the engine "insert" does not sound right. Going to need to see the photos, several have been made in 1/12 to 1/18 scale. Any markings on the bottom?

That's the one. Is there any value in restoring these, spare parts availability? This is my dad's and it's pretty rough, no paint, no dash, no wind shield.
