Och Hej Stefan. Det är trevligt att se fler människor från Nothern Europe här.    (Don't know if that's correct, had to use Google Translator. My Swedish is not very good).

 

I'm slowly working on the interior. If I get the seat decals installed today, I will post small update on the progress with that seat. Thanks for looking guys, and for the great comments.

I got the seat done. It needed more work than I thought, but the end-result is pretty good I think. I had to use quite a lot putty for the seams what came when I glued those two parts together, and once I had sanded it few times and added more putty, I painted the seat red and those chrome trims silver. I didn't use BMF, because it couldn't be seen so well after all. Then I removed the paint from those "High spots". I have no idea what they are in English, but I've seen those in 1:1 cars. Decals are from the kit.

 

I have to install it next, and then put the seat belts on, stay tuned.

Looks very good and what come with interior color ,well I love it! Red interior on white car looks perfect. Keep it going!

Chris: Yes, the white high spots are Pipings. Just didn't know how I could say it in English.

 

And the idea for the Red interior came from Matti's '62 Impala, it looked so good that I had to try my hand at it too. Today I'm planning of doing some BMF work with the Door Panels, and probably getting the seat installed with the seatbelts too.

I got the Door Panels finished tonight. They are painted red of course, some BMF, detail painting and those little Decals from the kit made them look like they are now. Next I will move on to the Dashboard and Steering Wheel & Column and then I should have the interior completed soon. We have Custom Culture Show here in Finland 16th & 17th of February, I can't get this one finished there, but luckily I do have quite a few Pre'65 Drag Cars on my shelf.

I managed to get the decals applied. They are all from the kit and they fit really nicely to place. I hope to get the body clear coated soon, maybe later this week.

Thanks, Carl, Bill and Matti! And I'd really like to see one of these from Matti's bench, too. It is truly amazing kit and your previous '62 Impala turned out really nice too. And what you say about the '62 Chevys, is true. You have pretty much of them already .

 

I just got home from Sweden. I had to visit in Harambee Hobby, and walked out with Revell '63 Impala SS on my hands. Well it's clear that I will make one Z11 Impala with 427 Mystery Motor. All I need is Sox & Martin Impala decal sheet from Slixx Decals and one of AMT '62 Impala Super Stockers.

 

This build is waiting for clearcoat, let's see if I can make it today.

Niko.... the paint and decals look great. Toubhave done an outstanding job on this one so far. When you get this one completed you will have to takes pics of this '62 and your dads '57 together. Looking forwarx to seeing it done.
