A good friend got this slot car in a lot off of ebay .  We've been trying to I.D. it with no luck .  I thought the body might be a Stromberg but the chassis looks newer .  Any ideas ?

I guess my question wasn't very clear .   I know it's a Cheetah .  I also know that it is not a Cox Cheetah .  I'm trying to I.D. the manufacturer .

Bob,

After Googling slot car chassis. It appears,if your car is a 1/32 scale,Strombecker has a mid-motor placement and a 3 screw mounting into the body.Would it be possible to borrow your pic to send it to someone who might have more info?

I was thinking Strombecker but couldn't find any photos of a similar chassis .    Go ahead and use my photos if you know some one who can help .

Thanks .

If it is 1/32 scale most likely Strombecker. If it a bigger scale 1/24-1/25 it could be Russkit.
