Does anyone out there know of any apps for I-phone/pod useful for modeling?

Woodland Scenics has a free Model Scaler app. The one I have is for the Android, but I believe there is one for the Apples. It allows you to convert actual measurements to scale measurements (and vice versa), and is geared towards railroad scales. Some of the automotive oriented default scales are 1/18, 1/32, and G scale, which the app says is 1/24. You can also enter "custom" scales such as 1/25. Once you've entered the custom scale, it's used for the entire session.

Thanks Jim, I had seen a link to an app on this someplace on this forum but can't remember where, senior moment! any help kick-starting lost brain cells would be greatly appreciated.

There is an app available for mixing colors and which can be used as reference for different paint brands. Have a look at http://www.imodelkit...te_en/Home.html

That's a cool app! I actually hadn't even thought about looking for modeling apps.
