Soooo today was a nice day, which lead to a fairly nice night before the rain came....haha
I took some advice from Raees/dadaman to warm up a box and to put the cleared body into it so it doesn't "blush" up.
The results.....well see for yourself. Stayed shiny unlike the first attempt.

Love it! I'm a big fan of limo's! The paint is excellent. Now you need a figure for a driver, and the owner... Curooz Lo Man!

Loving this!

Is it just me, or does this kinda/sorta vaguely resemble a mid '60's Imperial?

Paint looks good!  I forget how spoiled we are in SoCal... lots of sunny days.

Besides that, great idea for a limo.  Not my thing either, but its plastic; we get to do what we want with it and not drive it to work.  I built an S10 pickup with a Ferrari engine in the bed.  I never considered the difficulty of changing the spark plugs when I built that... :o

Hey, thanks guys. I started polishing this guy up, but I got 2 other projects going as well...haha. Simon,!we sure are spoiled here in Cali...lol Chuck, lots of 60s-70s j-tins look similar to American cars. They were inspired... I'll try to post a pic of the polishing in a bit.

Here's a small update. After color sand and single pass with meguires scratch-x 5689c0f1-32fd-4b8a-83f9-9782c0b925c2_zps After 3 passes of scratch-x E1838473-1CEE-4980-9588-E25EB14EBCC8-113 I also added some detail to the back seats. Both sides done and re-primed. Gonna paint them tonight. 337A62AD-2FD7-474E-A8A8-1921308A41C7-736

Love it! I love the old style Japanese cars. They seem to have so much more attitude to me.
