The 1:1 subject is so hideous that the only way to improve it would be to run over it with a tank. :)

And many of us are just flat FANS! I am always in awe of the work John does, and can only aspire to his level of craftsmanship. John, you may not be king of the mountain, but you are definitely in the short line to the throne! Rock on buddy. :)

Hello.......thank you all very much for the kind comments.......I got some primer on the body and the 1st pass of putty.........sanded down and re-primered.......I shot a few pictures to see what it looks like..........most of the body work is done......I will give it one more pass of putty and re-primer again.........I will have color on it this weekend.......thanks for looking.

As always your detail work is very impressive and yet again you have done an excellent job replicating a 1:1 subject.

Are you planning to sink the faux-spare tire further into the trunklid to have it match the real car/truck's "toilet seat" trunklid?:

Just to have the vision to look at the 1:1 and know what you would have to use to build it is a fantastic accomplishment in itself! :)

I can't wait to see this thing in paint John! How are you going to handle the flames? Looks like they will be pretty tricky to mask. Whether you realize it or not, you're an inspiration to a lot people on here. Myself especially. Thanx for sharing your work with us!
