Good to see you back and postin' your toasties!

Vacation with the daughter led to a bout of the almost flu, combined with me being in charge at work all week led to some busy days.

Whew, I need a break to recover from the break.

Not really the same, I know where mine went. I left my shop door open last week, lost a sealed Mon. Ford f250 to my 4 month old Boxer. Still haven't found all the pieces!!

No problems with model security here in PA.  My wife is totally in tune with my models. She sees it as my art and the key to my sanity. She's big on my sanity.  Kids are grown and living in NJ!  My daughter the younger did empty an entire bottle of glue into an interior once when she was 4.  Now she's 24 so she's over that stage!

Geez Wayne, I can relate. In 1988 I started divorce proceedings. Shortly after I came home to find all my built models arranged neatly on the floor, and stomped upon. Stuff from the early 60's to 1980-ish. I was so devastated, I didnt even look at a model for 20 years. I lost a Blue Beetle, Yellow Jacket, Un-Certain Tee, more unobtainium Monogram stuff, and a contest winning 55 Chevy. I still have the Chevy, but every time I look at the smashed roof I have issues. Best news is that I got the kid and the house. Shows what a loser the wife was.

You never know a woman 'till you meet her in court.

Youve got that right Craig. I just dont "get it" how model cars so threaten them.

Easy. A very insecure woman sees any interest you have as competition. A smart woman understands that your art is one of the things that makes you interesting and complete!

So true! And it's all about taking something that you value away from you. Best revenge involves hooking up with her best friend,

So what I am reading is, either dont married at all, or if you are thinking about it, have the women take a psych test before marriage

I've been married what will be 32 years as of this coming May!  Yes we went though our bumps in the road and came out together. Raised two great kids that are now financially independent and on their own. I am relaxed in my own home and relationship, no need to watch my back. Pretty sure this will be my life til I die... unless I do something incredibly stupid!    :)

Prenuptial agreement! Make 'em sign that you get to keep your model car collection. And yer pickup.

Or..  just keep on hiding in your folk's basement and talk to your model cars while wearing your Star Trek jammies. Then the wife thing is just a mute point!
