It'll be out sometime this year. It's confirmed. They do a poor job (IMHO) of updating their website. They've got several other things to get out first, like the ProStar and several sci-fi kits. I haven't even seen the box art for the 56 300B yet, so it's still a ways off... It'll be kit #1207, MSRP $29.99, that's all the info that's out there so far.

I don't think that there has been any big announcement made yet, However, our wholesale customers have known that Moebius models is producing a new 1956 Chrysler 300 B kit for some time now. The tooling mock-up has been in our hands for a couple weeks now and we have reviewed it and feel that with a few minor refinements, it should be ready for production.
Here are a few shots of the mock-up - There are some details missing on this mock-up because they are the same as in the 1955 kit.
This new kit will have the new 1956 body, with new separate - correct for 1956 door handles, new tail lights & rear bumper, some additions under the hood as well as a new set of hood hinges. The interior has a new dash with the push button shift pad, the exhaust pipes are also revised
I would expect that this kit will be available during the 3rd quarter of this year..
Thanks for looking,
Dave

I like what I'm seeing here.
I hope they do the reprint of the '56 brochure, too. That was a really nice touch for the '55.

Sweet! Would Mobius send out hood hinges to those of us that have the 55, which has none?

Looks great - really glad to see that the '56 is being done too, as I much prefer the rear fin treatment compared to the '55.
Can't wait to see more!

Looks super nice!!!! A VERY refreshing change from '64 Impalas and '65 GTO's that while OK, have become pretty boring, you have to admit. R?M and Moebius are bringing some long neglected and forgotten orphans into the fold and hopefully, they will all be well received and sell in huge quantities. Now how about a '58 Ford hardtop and convertible and a crisp new '66 Chrysler 300? Thank you Moebius..

Looking forward to this release! Will the wheel-covers be the same as in the '55, or will they be updated as well?
