Just finished this and glad it's done.Only my second time working with resin and I think I'll stick to plastic it's so much easier.Body is Jimmy Flinstone chopped body using an AMT kit for the assembly.Color is Testors 1 coat Inca Gold using decals from Slixx which were old and had some crumble on me,wheels and tires are from the Modelhaus.Just another for the shelf and let's move on to the next.

I think you did a great job George !  It looks really nice .  Jimmy Flintstone bodies are not the best for a first time try at resin !   There are others that are as good as styrene ( that's why they cost more )  so don't give up on them !

Very nice build...I like the diorama as well. I'm looking to do a Flintstone resin build myself, what concerns did you ebcounter that I should be aware of ? My first resin attempt as a matter of fact...

Thank you

Thanks everyone for your comments.Pete, the inside of the body was pretty thick, especially around the window areas.I used a drum sanding accessory in my Dremel tool and sanded the inside of the body so for one the interior bucket would fit right and 2 so the area around the windows would be less thick.I have a JF Metro that I want to get at,but it's the same way if not worse than the '36 body.Looks like a whole lot of thinning down is going to be required to get the floor assembly to fit right, but at the same time I have a few of JF chopped tops that fit the AMT's '36 Ford kits and they are actually quite nice.I guess the lesson learned is to look it over real good before you buy.I understand that there are other resin casters out there that do quality casts,so I should give it another look see before deciding to give up resin altogether.

The Ford '36 is my favorite body style.

I got like 5 of them in my stash.

Thanks for all the info.

I think it came out great! Love that color on it too. I've used one Flintstone body, and it was the same way as yours. Lot's of work there.
