Thanks everyone for your comments.Pete, the inside of the body was pretty thick, especially around the window areas.I used a drum sanding accessory in my Dremel tool and sanded the inside of the body so for one the interior bucket would fit right and 2 so the area around the windows would be less thick.I have a JF Metro that I want to get at,but it's the same way if not worse than the '36 body.Looks like a whole lot of thinning down is going to be required to get the floor assembly to fit right, but at the same time I have a few of JF chopped tops that fit the AMT's '36 Ford kits and they are actually quite nice.I guess the lesson learned is to look it over real good before you buy.I understand that there are other resin casters out there that do quality casts,so I should give it another look see before deciding to give up resin altogether.
George,
Thanks for the information, you know I never gave much thought to the INSIDES of the resin bodies ...none the less a beautiful build on your part.

Ditto what Pete said. Thanks for the information - hadn't thought about the inside of a resin body - good to know,
Nice build and I like your diorama too. Two thumbs up.

Very nice clean build. Like that period look & you nailed it. Like your display as well.
JF bodies do require work & for the price are well done. JF does have some really cool bodies. I have modified a few of them.
