I started with a monogram kit and built it using the Matranga Merc as inspiration for the side glass profile. The roof is of course chopped and laid back in the rear. I scratch built a 39 Zephyr dash panel for the interior . The headlights have been moved to the outer fenders just because I've never seen it done on a 37 Ford before. The tailights are sunken 59 Caddy bullets and a 49 Ford rear bumper. The engine is a Flathead. Hope you like. Thanks guys. DJ, it was going to be that shade of red the minute I bought the kit. I remember a lot of old rods from when i was a kid in the 80s being painted that colour. It contrasts so well with the chrome work.
