Superb recreation of the Cobra's first win. I have much of what is needed for this build as well. I was unaware of the availability of the brake scoops though. Must get those as well as the wheels. What brand and shade of red did you use?

That's an excellent build and a very interesting bit of history. Who would guess that the first race winning Cobra was painted red? What was Shelby thinking? ![]()

'63 Cobra's were only available in (3) colors red, white and black

Looks awesome! Love the Spaulding! The Spaulding Flamethrower was also in the AMT parts pack motors (I think the hemi). I have the decals for this one but need to finish the Coventry Executor first...

Yea, the Spaulding Flamethrower was available in a few kits. I didn't care for them so I built my own. It is very prominent in the engine bay. As for the HRM parts, I bought the parts individually.
