I finished some builds yesterday and here's the first one.   I was introduced to Rustoleum texture paint and have been using it on the chassis'.  I like the look.

Thank you, Ray.  The paint is HOK trublue pearl over a silver basecoat.  Then a 2 part urethane.

Looks nice and SHINY, Jim!

While it isn't my favorite subject, I like the color and the build...another nice addition to the growing collection

Thanks Fatkidd & Carl.  I should have mentioned that I used a Fatkidd 2nd gen distributor.

Very nice !  The paint and interior look great !

I also use the texture paint on my chassis' ,  I think it looks better than the body color overspray .  What's really nice is it can be top coated with any color you want !

Thanks, Neal.  As Fatkidd says, "If it ain't SHINY :) :) :) , it's just dull".

Good color choice for this one, texture paint looks good, but I'm surprised you haven't figured out a way to make the texture paint shine!

Thanks, Al.  I would imagine it would shine if it was hit with the 2 part urethane clear.  Hmmmmmm - that's an idea.
