Stupidity never sleeps. I was kind of hoping there was some video to go along with this, but there isn't.

The victim: a 2012 Honda Civic. Cause is believed to be a spark from the remote control popping the trunk.

A truck or van wouldn't fare any better. I saw photos of a plumbing van that exploded in a guy's driveway. An acetylene tank had been slowly leaking overnight and the plumber started the van by remote control. Van parts in several yards and on a roof or two. Destroyed a boat on a trailer, too.

I remember seeing that van. There wasn't a lot left of it. Carrying acetylene in a Honda?
