I have most the pieces to build some thing like this. I have another project going now but may add this to the short list.
Thanks for posting the picture Tim.

Oh how I wish we could line up all the drag racing Street Roadsters shown in this thread for our own mini-NNL event!

In the spirit of keeping this thread going....here's one from the 2011 NNL NATIONALS...

Chris Waroner is the builder of this '32 Ford AA/SR dragster. He told me it was well along before my article in the same subject appeared.

Thanks for the props Pete and Bill. This was my original version, but fixing the radiator shell was problematic, and putting the moon tank in front made it look goofy. I like the way it is now, with the hood and no tank. I'm planning on painting it with the new Testor's Aztec pearl green, close to the original color, but being acrylic, very easy to spray.

Great job...really captures the feel of the era !!! I love the wheel/tire choice.

From the 2012 NNL Nationals....

http://images51.fotk...DSC_0453-vi.jpg

It wears "B/A" (B Altered) NHRA classification livery, which means it is a post-1971 or so replica, but to my eyes this one is a classic 1960's A/SR drag racing machine. Darrell Peters' "Altered States" is based on the MPC '32 Chevy Cabriolet kit, but wears all the appropriate A/SR modifications. They finishing touch is a sharp 409 Chevy engine, a terrific choice vs. the so-commonly seen SBC's out there.

And yes, this is the same Darryl better known as "Doctor Darryl" who makes some pretty cool aftermarket drag and Midget decals for us....TIM

Wow, another really sharp car that I just saw for the first time...looks period perfect !!!

WOW!! This is a great thread and I've always loved the roadsters. I have plenty of supply to build one or two and I'm going to build one just to contribute to this fun thread.

Post more if you've got 'em.
