where can I find a nice big block ford motor needs to be 1/25 scale. I would like to fine one that has a hilborn inj set up aftermarket or on in a kit. Need two of them one for a gasser build & one for a street machine build, S/M doesn't have to be inj. would like one with a nice two carb set up. Thanks

The old Revell 1/25 parts pack 427 Ford (FE engine) kit, available cheap on ebay, is a very nice rendition of one big-block. Parts are included to build 2 versions: either GMC 6-71blown/ injected, OR with 2 four-barrel carbs. Because the FE engine has even intake-port spacing, it's relatively easy to convert Hilborn injection or log manifolds made for other even-port-spacing engines.
The Revell Ed Roth Mysterion kit has TWO Ford 406s (early FE, same general appearance as the 427) with different valve covers and intake manifolds for three 2-barrels.

Bill's suggestion is a great one for a blown engine. There's an E Bay seller selling sets of 4 of these engines for $11.95 shipped. The AMT '60 Ford kit also has an excellent FE Ford and if you get the most recent issue it has 2 complete engines with 1x4, 2x4 & 3x2 carb setups. good luck in your search!

...if you remember that the lower port sections of the intake are half the head.

...absolutely, and if you cut the flanges off the 2X4 manifold and build the Hilborn setup on them...

...or a 6-carb log can be built on the 2X4 manirold filed flat in the center, and a log for something else filed flat on the bottom...
