Yeah there sure seem to be a LOT of us here that are older in body than our minds want to admit...

I also remember being able to outrun my kids...

I remember having all of my own teeth...

I remember having a LOT of hair... and it was ALL brown...

I remember when I LIKED cold, snowy weather...

I remember a few more things, but I'll try my best to keep this a CLEAN thread and not be the one to start it rolling downhill......  LOL...

You don't really want to aggravate the guy with his finger on the ban button, do you?

  :P

(just kidding!)

I think that might make a few people here happy if you did

I  know I am not as, hmmm, wise as most people on here ;) , but I too feel myself getting older,  I think  back to things, and it hits me how long ago I did something, or things along those lines, I still feel pretty young, well most days anyways

Careful Donn... just because you're a "styrene star" doesn't mean I won't "enhance" your picture in Photoshop!!!

Hmmm , let's see ! Make me look older with silver high lights ? Nope ! Ex-wives beat ya to it .

Put me in a dress and heels ? Possible ! But it won't be any scarier lookin' than Virgil in that hideous kilt he so proudly sports ! Lmao !

Sorry , Timman , past the age of giving a BLAH_BLAH_BLAH_BLAH ! Lmao ! Besides , it's all about having fun , right ?

In my profession it's not the years but the miles. Logged 4 mil. with out a chargeable offense. Nice thing though is I just picked up one of the new trucks we get this year.

Back a few years ago my daughter, and her boyfriend decided to move from a 3rd floor apt. I told them I would load the track but they had to bring it all down. Well turns out I ran circles around the two of them, hauling it down, and loading. They were both 21 at the time.

Currently got a-fib, and my knees let me know how much I played football back in HS.

I think the topper was when one night we went out to eat, and I got the senior discount before I was old enough to. My daughter just about loaded her pants she was laughing so hard.

Definitely my A- Fib slowed me way down. Now I can walk into a MC Donalds's and they call me "Sir" & give me a senior discount & I am only 52!  Shaking head that has its ups & downs when you think about it...

Sorry to ask but what is an A-Fib? Dr. wants to put a pacemaker/Defibrillator in me... Is it the same?

The latest thing that makes me feel old, is my seven year old daughter wanting a iPhone. My response wasn't what she wanted to hear. I told her she can get a iPhone when she gets a job.

At 48 I'm feeling pretty good, I have to thank my 20 year Military service for keeping me fit and healthy, but my 9 year old daughter can navigate around a computer faster than me, knows stuff I don't!

I see an I.T. specialist in the making here :)

I didn't realize what old was until I had a back problem.  Went to the doc's and was given a two week course of steroids.  About two days into it, I got out of bed and nothing hurt!  Body felt like it was 30 again.  Then I realized that all that heavy lifting when I was younger had taken a toll on knees, back, hips just about everything.  After the steroids ran out I now understand drug abuse.  I don't condone it, but I sure as hell understand it!

Thanks Gramps. They gave me paperwork to look at but I'm not real intelligent when it comes to medical terms.

I'm just starting to get some of these hapening to me and I'm only 39. My first clue was that my MOM stopped buying my models and told me I should get my wife to do that now.

I drove my custom 99 S10 Xtreme with 20 inch wheels through a Wendy's drive thou. The girl that got my money said to me (Driving your sons truck!!). My wife and I don't have any kids... I have a few freinds that I went to High School that have kids that have kids.

I still play for 3 different softball teams , still in good shape for the shape I'm in ! Lol !

Played in the Co-Ed Sno Ball Softball Charity Tournament last Saturday with my kids , finished in second place . Laying in bed with Kathie the next morning , I started laughing . She asked me why ? . I said , " How is it possible that even my hair is hurting me this morning ? "

We laid there and laughed like two fools ! What really matters , doesn't mind . What really minds , simply doesn't matter ! Keep moving ! It's harder to hit a moving target ! Lmao !

Oh , one other tidbit .... Some of the tournaments that I play in these days ? They're called Senior Tournaments for some strange reason .... I don't get it !
