I've always liked the red and black 2 tone like the one my dad had. He got it with the radio upgrade, a 32 tube AM,  tinted glass, 3 on the tree with overdrive. I learned to drive a stick on the car.

It looks great!!! Still working on mine.  One little detail I noticed on yours is the chrome ring around the tail light, I never noticed this before except on the Fairlane.  I've been having problems finding images of a Custom and the only ones I've seen don't have the chrome ring.  Do you know how they came originally?  I really do like your colors, do you have any pictures of the engine or under carriage? Thanks for sharing.

I don't have pictures of the engines or chassis yet. I'm in Chicago and the model is in New Jersey. I did find the pictures of the taillights though. Thank you for the nice comments.

Thanks Al, that's a big help! The only problem, I just installed mine yesterday without the silver ring, now it will be another challenge. Two steps forward, one step back, that's the way it usually goes. Thanks again.

I just used a silver Sparpie paint pen. Works great.
