I finished this build last week just in time for the Jaxcon show - and I lost the pics. 

 

I cut the door post off so it would look like a hardtop.  Front & rear rolled pans; frenched taillights; '62 Chrysler headlights (that I now cast); kit engine dressed up a little with a sorta '56 Caddy air filter that I also cast and a Fatkidd distributor.  I make those little easel signs for every model.  It reminds me of what's been done.

Looking good Jim as always. These cars made a great looking custom and one of my favorite AMT models. Love your front end.

Thanks, Ron.  The front end is somewhat different.  I'm casting some '50 Olds headlight buckets so I can use them on the Hudson I'm building.

Thank you, Ray and Bob.  The signs look cool at a show - especially when I use the mirrors and spotlights.  Almost like a 1:1 show car.

Another excellent build Jim, you always have personal touches on your builds and use body color on your chassis. Really sharp...
