Always looking something to do. In my quest to represent every year of the petty car I took on a project to create the 1992 fan appeciation tour car that actualy looks like a fan appreciation tour car. Racing champions issued a 1992 paint schemed pontiac but it was so wrong. I found an old one that had been repainted and was looking very ugly so i decided a resto was nesseary.The pix below show the work

originally this is what this car would have looked like, ok but wrong markings for front facia, small stp on quarters , richard's name is on the roof and the colors are all wrong

Is the repaint an improvement over the original racing champions scheme?

Nice save!   You can drill the post holding the windows in so they can be easily removed. .

i did not do that because one of the side glasses had a crack - i was scared i would do more damage

 i am not a race car fan but super job on a 25cent model. by the way what scale is the goose.lol just kidding.
