Oh yeah and I know it was a model A Ford, but Monogram did a few of those! I built a blue roadster with whitewalls and chrome hubcaps - and slicks on the back, all oob.

No it didn't have hubcaps, it had some really nice 5-spoke mags, I remember now.

'30 Ford Woody ?

Correct.

I did find that someone just bid $275 on eBay for the original artwork for Tom's proposal!

That was it:

I think it was one of Dean Milano's auctions, too.

Okay, I've got one that should be tougher than my last one. issued in 1961 it can be built one of three ways either competition, stock or street rod. I don't see a scale listed anywhere on the box but it looks to me like it is bigger than 1/24th or 1/25th maybe 1/22nd?

The kit is MOTORIZED with REMOTE CONTROL fingertip command. Runs forward, and reverse, turns right, turns left and all at your fingertip command. (no foolin, that's all printed on the box verbatim). The box is blue and the car on the box is a red roadster. The box lid shows the street rod version of the kit and the street rod version has a green dragon on the side of the roadster.

This is very much not a mainstream model manufacturer. It looks like they made several different model car kits, most of them motorized in some form. Mostly this company was a toy company founded in 1907.

Who manufactured the kit and what is it a model of?

The "Ideal Toy Company" manufactured all kinds of motorized models in the 60's including the "Model T Ford with Remote Control " .  I never had one but I do remember building a few of the "Cam-a-matic" motorized models !

There was a mini truck released as a tow truck in 1/25 scale. The kit was released as a pickup with regular running gear and seperately as a monster truck. Two seperate kits that were identical with the exception of the axles, springs, wheels and tires (and a few other small parts). The decals are the same as well. The box art for both the monster truck and the regular truck show two identical trucks (color, decals, wrecker boom, light bar, etc)

Who made the kits?, what make of truck is it? and what is the name on the side of both trucks?

It's the MPC Datsun 620 pickup, decals on the side say 'Scavenger'.
