Revell's Ed Roth Surfite kit is 1/25th scale, but early material promoting the kit listed it in a different scale. What scale was the Surfite originally going to be?

1/16th?I thought I read some wheres one of the roth kits was going to be big scale but then changed last second.

I was thinking 1/32 also, but dang, that thing would have been awfully small done in that scale.

There's a sell sheet for the Surfite that touts the kit as Revell's first 1/12 scale car kit. There's no mention of the Tiki Hut, but the kit number is H-1240...same as the eventual 1/25-scale Surfite.
