One of those resin Fairmonts would make a good home for a 4.6 also.

The engine in AMT's Phantom Vicky has a really good version.

Supercharged... RM Shelby GT500, naturally aspirated I would thing the RM 2001 Mustang Cobra. The AMT 32 Vickie engine is ok but the details to me seem a little soft.

I like the 4.6 DOHC engine that comes in the Revell Mustang Mach III for a custom build. It has factory headers and a nice supercharger. If you want stock, I don't think you can go wrong with any of the engines from AMT or Revell. So far, I haven't seen one that I would call bad.

Don't forget about the 5.4 Lightning kit.

The lightning motor is a 2 valve motor not a 4 valve

No worries... still a killer motor. I have seen quite a few healthy 2v in hot rods and old Mustangs over the years.
