Just got my 2 copies of the rat roaster, building the first one out of box more or less, except for a colour change and some added details.
Also will be fender less. Will post pics as I make a little more progress.

Most of the chrome has been stripped - the wheels and the headers will be sprayed in alclad magnesium. Windshield frame and other parts in aluminum. Colour is up in the air, I have a pretty cool met red, a pretty sweet teal or bright yellow in mind.
