In my short time I've been on the forum I posted a Ford and a Mopar so now it's time for a General Motors product. This is my '55 Chevy Cameo with a '57 box added. I love the egg crate grille on the '55 but prefer the chrome on the bed of the '57. I ised the front clip and engine block from the AMT '67 Impala and some rear end links from the Phantom Vicky kit. The Chevy SSR wheels and tires are froma Maisto die cast. I designed my own interior door panels and carved them from sheet styrene. The dash, console and seats are from a C5 Corvette and modified to fit. I also scratchbuilt the intake and adapted the serpentine pulleys from the Corvette to the 427 engine. The color is house of Kolor persimmon pearl over a Italian red basecoat with a custom mixed butterscothch interior. The grille was sanded from the backside to open it up and I also designed a 4 bar linkage for the hood.
Thanks for looking!
