Finally shot some primer on the body. I decided to go bumper-less out back and the rest of the body work is almost done, just some clean up and sanding now.

use the 55 chevy truck front bumper i have used them on my 51 fastback and they look good

Final paint, Hot Rod primer, dull clear and I tried something different for the roof. Tamiya Candy Lime Green base with Clear Orange top coat.

Couldn't leave it plain, so here it is with a little roof design. Found some hubcaps on feebay. Still looking for some blanket material for the seats but will continue on...

This is definitely an example of customizing as a means to improve the lines and styling of the original car. You are really coming into your own with this sort of build over your last few projects. The side view of this thing is just lovely... Bravo!

Love the way this thing is starting to look. I was more a fan of the first grill combo but the second combo is right up there, it's a nice suttle touch. What I'm really loven tho is that color you sprayed on the roof with the lace design on top.
It's coming along, I'll be watching. Keep it up.
