I understand that the AMT 1960 Ford Starliner kit has a well-detailed chassis that will also fit the 1964 Ford Galaxie. The latter, however, has an interior tub with molded interior door detail and other interior pieces while the '60 has a build-up interior.

Before getting into major kit-bashing, I would like to confirm that I can cut the interior sides, back seat, etc. from the 1964 Galaxie tub and then use those pieces to build the interior onto the 1960 Starliner chassis. Can it be done and look like it belongs?

Thanks.

One of the Annual CM mag's showed doing this with a 63.

All the builder did was remove the floor of the 63's Tub interior,

then modify it slightly to fit the 60's floor pan.
