Johanna Long is another female driver in NASCAR, but why does she not get any attention, she has finished better then Danica a lot of times in 2012, but she does not have a billion dollar crop behind her, I am more of a fan of Johanna Long then Danica, and would like to see Johanna Long get more attention then she does, but that wont happen tell a company comes along and starts writing checks with a lot zeros at the end.
I'm getting lost here...Danica has a sponsor in Go Daddy and Johanna doesn't....But Johanna is a better driver ? I don't see the logic..Johanna is a nice lookin lady, and drives 3rd class cars...Better check those stats...Here they are:
Nothing really different, cept time in BIG LEAGUE RACING...Danica still has more time in, 3 yrs in INDY Cars...SO she has spent more time earning her sponsor dollars, and that makes sense
Dnaica is more of a marketing tool then a race car driver, again, not taking anything away from her, but it is what it is, NASCAR has become a pay to drive series in many case's , and Danica is paying to be in her ride. Stewart Haas racing only gave Danica her ride because Go Daddy is paying for it
First re read last paragraph...... ok then,
Did you really watch the racing line she drove to qualify with...they showed all the others, and she had the best line...simple
I keep seeing how you are being fair and honest here....Nah...but admit it please Because you have that right. Me I laugh at most of the comments here..yep $$$ talks, BUT BS does WALK...and ole Danica is driving quite fast due to ...talent.
I think I mistyped there, I am not saying that Johanna Long is a better driver, comparing stats, Danica did do a little better then Johanna Long in 2012.
You just showed how little must know about racing, so because Danica won the pole, she is the greatest driver ever, so freaking what, she held a much better line, its not about where you start, its about where you finish, now if she can win the race, then yes, thats something to talk about.
I am trying to be fair and honest here, she won a pole, she drove a better line the 44 other drivers on sunday, great, but money is keeping her in her seat, not talent at this point in her career.
