I most not know how to read or something.. but after reading what the poor guy said and reading what you all are talking about. The guy said airbrush is really is not a option and yet you all are talking about using airbrushes to help him out. He stated spray can is what he really or is wanting as he clearly asked for spray can not airbrush.

I need a small can to do some accents on a Mustang for a friend. Airbrushing really not an option right now. I need a nice bright pink like the

Breast Cancer Awareness ribbons. All around here is ballet pink, soft pink, frostberry, etc. Anyone know of a good online source for spray cans?

I'm thinking of where he can get spray cans of pink, I mostly buy all my spray stuff locally and not online. I hope the guy best of luck at finding the shade he wants and is looking for.

What about Testors Mopar Panther Pink? It is kind of a darker pink.

Testors used to have a "50's Pink" in the Model Master line, it came out right about the same time Monogram released the '59 Caddy that was molded in the garish shade if pink.

WHY is it so hard to find hot pink/Barbie pink in a spray can these days? I need a small can to do some accents on a Mustang for a friend. Airbrushing really not an option right now. I need a nice bright pink like the Breast Cancer Awareness ribbons. All around here is ballet pink, soft pink, frostberry, etc. Anyone know of a good online source for spray cans? Thanks

"Accents" - If it's a model, and the accent areas aren't large, why not mix your own color and use a brush to apply it?

Model Master enamel Hot Magenta #2955 (a solid) or Testor's One Coat Electric Pink #1841 (a metallic) are probably the closest you'll find in hobby paint in a spray can these days.  Tamiya Pink is too powderpuff, and Pactra LeMans Pink and Testors 50's Pink are both discontinued (and are probably too powderpuff as well, IMHO)

After retrieving the can from my daughter i have to correct my bad memory. It is Krylon Gloss Watermelon, not  Valspar. It is from a  rattle can over Duplicolor white primer.

If you have a decent auto body paint shop near by they can mix what ever you want and put it into a rattle can. I have done this before for 1:1 touch ups.

Valspar "Watermelon" rattle can over Duplicolor white primer.

We have a winner! THAT is the color I am looking for. Now all I have to do is find a local or online supplier of Valspar paint. Thank you VERY much everyone for all the tips & information!

Joe, did you check Lowe's? I don't know for sure if they have that color in stock or not, but they are a Valspar dealer.

I did but I don't think they had that color. I may see if I can order it

Nope George, Danville bites baloney, no good hobby/craft stores here anymore.

Hey Joe, do you have a picture of the particular pink you're looking for? It would certainly help us out in finding the best match.

Actually Bill Rules posted a pic of a pink that is perfect. It is Krylon Gloss Watermelon. I picked a can up at Wally World today actually. I'm not sure how I missed the can when I was there on Wednesday. Only thing I can think of was I was so focused on the name "Pink" I didn't pay enough attention to the caps. Thanks again to everyone who offered advice and information, I would have never thought to look for watermelon in my search for pink.

Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.  Watermelon and corn on the cob.  Yummmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmie!  But, alas, it's Friday and that means pizza, popcorn, and WWE Friday Night Smackdown.  And with that note, I'm outta here until tomorrow.
