Finished this one today, nice kit to build with no fitting issues at all. Still a novice at this but if you look at the first model I built compared to this there's a world of difference. ZBYQgh8.jpgAI8zfqn.jpguEc51TT.jpgtvczhAn.jpgc2NIGH1.jpgjbJX9Is.jpgz54IPS2.jpg

Mark, can we assume this is the Tamiya kit? I have yet to build one of their kits, but they seem to be very well engineered. Based on what I see here, I think your novice status will soon be a thing of the past.

Looks quite a bit better than the AMT/Ertl kit. I think you did a great job on this.

Thanks, it is the Tamiya kit. This is the 6th tamiya car kit I've built, after 3 revell cars and the build quality is so much better in the tamiyas. The level of detail is a lot better as well, and they just seem to fit a lot better together as well. Wouldn't go back to revell now, especially as a novice you get better results.

Nice looking Jaguar! One kit, i'm missing in my shelf.

Looks very clean.

Not at all Mark. Some new Revell Kits are that detailed like Tamiya too. The old Revells are bad, i agree.

This looks really nice.  :)  Excellent work.

I don't know.  I've got one of the AMT ones on my bench.  It's a pretty nice kit, once you get into it.  I hope I can do it justice.

Nicely done!

I guess I should NOT have passed on a sealed one for $20 at the show this weekend, huh?

Never really gave this car much of a glance, but that looks pretty good to me. Keep it up!
