forming fenders

After all the years of modeling I found a way to make fenders and form other items such as rollbars exsaust ect. .. What I had done first was to cut the piece from flat sheet . Then find a per say jig to form the shape I needed. Boil water ,start by dipping the plastic , use caution it is boiling water, so use a glove and a tool of sort to hold the part. Once it softens bend the plastic around the jig and hold. Dip the part and jig back into the hot water and hold a few seconds. Remove and dip the part and jig into ice water to shock it.Remove your newly made part from jig and repeat process to build another identical part. Give it a shot ,it worked great for me.......Q
