This is a 69 Chevy CST/10 Longbed Fleetside promo I got in a trade. It's had a bath in the Purple Pond and stripped all the chrome, swapped the 327 for a 454 from a 70 Chevelle. The front grille has cut out for a mesh grille, and head lights have been drilled out also for some clear lenses. Lowered it about 3" all around and added Pegasus Hella's.

Great start... I love these old c/10 pickups..... the stance is great... gotta love a big block....

Did you actually start with a Promo?

Looks more like an Original Annual.

Promo's never had an engine in them.

Every annual issue including MPC's last 1972 used the screws

through the front of the chassis into the mounts that are part of the radiator wall

(I have Too many of these to forget that) My first was the MPC 72 Cheyenne Annual.
