hi mike i like what i see this is how a used van should look perfect for events...

you also make a good copy thumbs up

from which kit are the tires from?

ps:here is my event van (i still own it but in present it dosent work ang got a lot of rust)

regards maik

That's a cool event van .. and exactly what my daughter used it for.

The tires are : "a 1 Ton truck tire" from Ma's Resin.

Unfortunately, Neil, I'm not going to be able to make MassCar this year ... too many commitments.

It will be at NNL East.

I'm looking forward to seeing it at NNL East!  I had fun watching you build it.  Very cool build. Most folks don't realize what goes into making a beater look right.

Thanks to everyone for their gracious comments. Hope to meet some of you at NNL East. Just for the heck of it as I'm not the most forward person in the world, this is only a couple years old ...

I gotta ask - how did you do the woodgrain around the center vent?

I just painted on a light wood color first and dry brushed a dark brown over it.

Awesome to see the finished project- it's even cooler than I imagined it would be... and I imagined it would be pretty cool to begin with!

Thanks, Chuck. :)  I've had to go rescue the van up roads like the starting one in that video, only in denser woods. One time a flat tire up a deep woods dirt road with no spare, rain had just started and after having reminded her to block the wheels when on a jack the van toppled off the jack .. grrr.

Dam Foxman, I had a GMC Beauville van the same dark blue, with a lighter blue band around the midsection. Wasn't till I saw pics of the dash that it hit me it was a GMC van! Somehow I had remembered it as a Chevy!. You did a HECKAVA job on this rascal! I'd be durned PROUD of this lil Bad Boy! :D  ;)  ^_^

Sorry to bring this up again, but my daughter's Lab named Toby needed to join. Not the greatest paint job but this was my first figure and more just an experimentation.

This turned out fantastic. It was really nice to watch it come together, and you nailed the look. The rust holes, those black spots on the Drivers' side and everything else seems to be just there. This would make good Real Or Model.
