Been watching this car and its evolving look. I kinda like the distressed look of the car. Makes me want to pull the Merc kit out of the storage.

Hi every one,

 

i was away for some time.......... dealing with some things........... :rolleyes:

 

I was a little frustrated with this project......... I paint and strip this body 7 times..... my son told me "don't give up...... i know you can do it" and smile at me........ so I restart the painting process and this is the final product.......... flat black....... B)

I used the front signal lights for the stop lights...........

Its a shame you had to re-paint it,those flames looked real sweet.I take my hat off to you,stripped it 7 times.I would of put it away and forgot about it...Its good to see your back at it...

yes....... you are wright......... my plan was burn it....... but my son given me the motivation to finish it up. So I restart the project.

Hi Luis, from looking through your thread, it looks like you've had your hands full with this one, but you have the right spirit, NEVER GIVE UP lol. I like the progress you've made. I think your choice of a matt black finish gives it a nice modern restomod feel.

Following your project close.  Very clean work!  glad you like Vallejo paint.  I use this brand a lot on armor vehicles.  Their model air line is awesome, ready for airbrush.

Yes...... I love Vallejo paints........ i live in a apartment and my son suffers from asma......... this paint is low odor an is water base...... so is my firs choice when i need to paint.............. :D

 

 

I just finish the Merc............ this is a pic......... I will post the rest on the Under the glass............ B)
