The entire original Gone in 60 Seconds, followed by every episode of CHiPs, followed by most of Used Cars (not really a chase scene in the classic sense, but cool),, then any kind of automobile scene in The Munsters, particularly the one where Herman is testing out Eddie's go cart. The chase scenes in Terminator and Terminator 2 are pretty good too, the semi truck bearing down on them is pretty awesome.

Original Gone in 60 Seconds.

X2! How can you beat a 45 minute chase where the cars all show thier progressing damage?!? For me a close second is Smokey and the Bandit #1. I love Sally Field!

Mine would be The Road Warrior, followed by Bullitt.  Duel was great too. Very suspenseful.

Vanishing point,,,the whole movie is a chase scene

I also like the remake of Gone in sixty seconds, where Elanor is pulling away from  the helocopter in the drain

Oh, Vanishing Point is another good one. The TV remake wasn't bad either.

Bullit is my favorite. I'm surprised no one has mentioned The Seven Ups. Stunt driver Bill Hickman drove the "bad guy" car in both movies.
