azers Posted April 10, 2013 Share Posted April 10, 2013 I have followed 1:1 practice on my silver paint jobs. Use a basecoat of black under the silver and it will bring out the metallic. I have a can of tamiya silver that actually states must use a black basecoat to work with their silver metallic paint for proper color.
