Never knew.   Interesting subject matter.  How many Flintstones would it take to get it going?

A friend of mine in high school had a '68 4dr Nova with a 4cyl. It also had a seat and a steering wheel but that was about it! Very unusual car, cool subject though!

Just in case anyone missed it, the engine I am basing this on is the 6 cylinder from Trumpeter's 63 Nova.  Thanks for the compliments guys.

The intake and exhaust manifolds have been cut, resized and reassembled.  I hope to paint engine parts and start assembly next weekend.  I only et a couple of hours on Saturdays for building, so progress will be slow.  But this build is a primary one, so will be focusing on it.

I like it... Not all cars were pure muscle the plain Janes are a welcome sight to me makes ones collection more realistic in my opinion.   I have several 6 cylinder projects to do once I find the engines for them.

Here is the completed engine, minus the air cleaner and valve cover decals, they are drying.

As we say every time someone creates something cool.... You should've had it cast!  :)

I can't wait to see it finished.  It would be a treat to see it sitting on a show table and gauge the reactions of guys when they see the four in there!

Thanks Tom. Roadhawg said the same thing about casting it. If someone wants to send me a Trumpeter 6 cylinder, I will do the cutting and reassembly work, send you the parts in exchange for a copy or two of the castings.
