He put on a good show here back in the early '70s at Ball State University.  I always liked his music.

Ravi Shankar also died, just the other day... another '60s music icon. He had a huge influence on the Beatles, mostly on George.

Hmmm... maybe I do need sleep! I thought he just died a week or two ago.

Harry, don't feel so bad, I check the obits every morning just to make sure my name isn't there.  Then proceed with the rest of the day.

Yes, there is just no substitute for taste.

Wonder how many, if any, of the so called "artists" of the last 25 years will even be remembered 45 years after their biggest gig.

I wasn't really familiar w/ his earlier work until I heard him on the track 'Hands of Time' w/ Groove Armada on the 'Collateral' soundtrack back in '05...great voice.
