Great looking restoration Tulio! You don't see many '62 Galaxie convertibles built. Especially this nice. I just bought a hardtop promo that I plan to restore soon. Right now, I'm working on a '60 Ford pickup.

I like everything you did, paint, BMF, detailing and I especially respect that you left the factory features engraving on the bottom.

I agree completely -- good call , leaving those 'annual' inscriptions on its chassis !

I would never remove the lettering from the chassis, it's a very cool touch!!! That screams "promo style" out loud :D :D

I was disapointed with AMT's 1961 Ford Galaxie (the Styline kit) because they removed the lettering...

For the ones wondering about the paint, I had it custom mixed in Vintage Burgundy:

Wonderful!  I too love a ford galaxie.  I wish someone would reissue this kit as it is one of the best looking fords made.  Great job, the paint and foil are perfect as usual!

I also agree about the chassis lettering.  It just seems to set a nostalgic mood for the model.  Yours looks sharp.
