Diamond plate is plastruct 1/100 scale diamond plate sheet sprayed with Krylon chrome. I was pleased with the results. :)

Lots of sanding and lots of rubbing. :D
Seriously though, my procedure is still the same as it was when I wrote about it in issue #150. If I remember correctly, I started with 2000 grit, followed by 3000 grit, and then rubbed it out with 3 grades of compounds.

 If I hadn't seen the checked base and the disassembled interior, I'd swear it were a 1:1 show truck.  And I'm still not 100% sure! :blink:  Beyond excellence.
