texaco tanker question

to all that built the tanker did any one have problems getting the tanker halfs together and if so what did you do to correct the problem?

yep,sure did. I cut the locator tabs off and used metal furnace tape on inside and lined the second half up.no need for gluing cause the tape sticks like concrete. you just need to find something to reach the center to press down the tape...

I love that tape works for some chrome stuff and holden stuff together

As mentioned above - tape inside the tank halves.   The tool for the kit is worn out and the parts just don't fit anymore - so we have to improvise and make them fit.
