Started this today. I'm more than likely going to weather this one....
So far I've cut the bed floor out, notched the frame , and painted the white walls... Wheels and tires are from the 48 Woody.
More to come.

Looking great. Really like the work you've done stepping the rear frame for axle clearance when you drop it. Very nice.

Got the inner bed sides cut out for clearance... And started working on the rear setup...
I'm tryin to get what I can done in four days because I'm leaving for Tampa and Miami for a month ...
God help me with no kits to build down there... I'm not looking forward to this...

I dont usually bump my own topic without any pics, so, just to say, im finally back at home from vacation in Tampa...
Ill be back to work on the 55 tomorrow...
God i miss the beach already....

Back on this again... So far ive managed to cut the inner wheelwells out for clearance... After several mockups, i think ive got the front tires able to tuck without lifting the cab up off the ground.
I did however grind a bit too much on the driver side front neart the hood... But that gives it more character IMO...
Next is to primer the cab and hood and then work on finishing the motor...

Got more done on the engine... Im not gonna wire this one, so im just going to detail paint what i can...
Got the cab in primer...
