The subject couldn't be much better than this. And very nicely built Chevy too, so you know I really like this one. Nice work with the paint and detail on this one. Where did you get the decals?

Excellent build!  I like those old stockers, and you hit it out of the park with this one.  I'd like to see more photos, too, and details on how you created the model details(headers?).  Again, congrats on a spectacular model.

Looks good. I had this one going myself but messed up the decals then there was issues with Decals by Lucas putting it on hold for a while.
What paint did you use? I used actual Sierra Gold on mine.

Hope to answer your inquiries, The decals are from Decals by Lucas (really easy to apply), the paint is a Testors rattle can with Wet Look clear ( I don't airbrush,yet), the headers are .062 solid core solder with resin collectors from Replicas and Miniatures.  Thank you for your questions and kind responses.
