Here´s my Aston Martin DB5 in scale 1/8. The colour is the original birch silver and the interior is real leather.

Spectacular, of course. But wasn't this kitted as a James Bond car, or were there separate versions?

Not Pocher. Same deal as the Citroen being discussed here: Sold in 85 weekly installments of parts.

SUPERB model would love to have one, is was unfortunate that the promotion for this and other models do not cover the USA, I have seen two for sale at ebay as complete/finished models....but beyond my reach in price.

Again great model and rebuild as are your other superb model projects.

I noticed your wire wheels and chrome are also far nicer than the original "kit", too.  So, you took a decent, fairly well detailed model and completely refinished and detailed it to make a finely detailed show piece.  Nice Job!!!!

Another great job after your Jags on the DB5! The wire wheels and leather upholstery are doing the model real justice. One sees your love to detail and work with this custom made transportation box. This kit seems to target more on electronic gadgets, than accuracy in detail. A real pity for me, but you really turned it to a collector's piece.

Cheers

Michael

The second DB´5 is on my workbench. It´s a classic racer in dubonnet red.

That red is beautiful, too.  From the pics it looks like the panels and "sheet metal" are scaled to look like a 1:1 car --- unlike most diecasts or plastics that so often are way too thick.  Are you sending out your bright parts for re-chroming?
