I'd have to join the BMF group myself.

You are a good builder, Johnathon.  Don't compare your abilities with other club members.  Don't allow certain people to ruffle your feathers so to speak.  You do get a model completely built.  I still like the line from our member Raoul C. who once said "Many of us are model builders, but few are model finishers."  Now go back to your model bench and enjoy it and life.  I have been on meds from being in the hospital that I have never had to take before.  I think they are turning me into some kind of teary eyed little girl.  LOL

Greg, thank you very much for the kind words,  been having that streak of builds where everything goes wrong,  from messing up paint jobs to losing parts, have not been at 100% with anything,  I am sort in a rut if you will .    I see you are a having a good time on the meds

if there is one thing I could improve in regards to my modeling skills it would be putting them to good use and finishing a model. I've seen guys that can really crank them out and I think that is a skill worth improving. On the painting side of things even simple graphics are way more difficult than I thought and I would like to improve that aspect.

Paint! I swear lately I can't even put a mist coat on a body without some sort of new reaction I haven't seen before.

I need a visit from the model finishing fairy.

I have to agree Tom!  I have so many projects in various stages of production...  I have tried making punch lists, not starting anything new, ...  The biggest challenge at the  moment is no place to paint in a small apartment with 4 people and a dog.  Too humid outside to paint, no spray booth...  Eventually, I will work it out...

I'd like to improve my consistency.I can do one nice paint job or a clean assembly and then the next bunch of models ends up with horrid paint or glue spots in visible places or parts break during assembly.

BMF would have to be it. I haven't tried it yet so there's plenty of room for improvements :) However, I am curious about using MotoStorm motochrome instead.

Same here for both BMF, and Carbon,  I have got better at Carbon, still suck at BMF

It's hard to narrow it down to just one thing, so I'll cheat: one for me and one for my alter ego

For me: Brush painting.

For Shardik: Focus. I/He/We have enormous trouble sticking to one proj.... oh wait, I just got an idea...

Thinning paint to airbrush.

And mixing paint in general.

I get it to thin or to thick.
