Here's a rendering of the "bigger cousin" that I mentioned:

There is any update about this oustanding tire? What size will you made?

The 3D-printed piece should be here before the end of this week and I will put it into production as soon as I can. It should be available soon after the beginning of 2014. It is 1/24 scale, and will fit scale 15" wheels. I will probably make some truck-type wheels soon to complement these tires.

edit: Here's a render of the smaller tire with a 15x8 Pacer wheel I drew tonight:

Here is a picture of the 3D-printed master for the Krawler.  The "real world" size is 35x13.5x15 and it is 1/24 scale.  It will go into production soon.

For size comparison, here is a kit tire from the Monogram 1/24 Bronco (left), my BFG All-Terrain T/A in the middle, and the new Krawler on the left:

I'm working on a good mold configuration for them, Jose!  Won't be much longer.

Wow... for some reason the phrase "Shut up and take my money" keeps popping into my head!

Gonna start saving up a few pennies to make a big purchase here pretty shortly, I hope!

Hmmmmmmm.  Aftermarket sources for good resin commercial and light commercial wheels and tires.  Sounds like a good idea for a magazine article topic.

The larger tires are in production now.  I'll release them for sale when I have a decent stock built up to handle the initial orders.  Rubber takes longer to produce than standard hard resin, so it's been a slow-go to build up stock.

Thanks for your interest, and your patience!!

So they will be rubber, not resin?

Yes, urethane rubber for ease of use with a wider variety of wheels.  I can make rigid urethane resin castings upon request also.

This is great news Joseph!  Thanks again for producing this great looking tire.  I'll definitely put in an order for a couple of sets once they become available.
