Very nicely done - if you can say nicely about a rather gruesome scene.  The weathering and detail painting throughout are great.  I like the small gut pile...

Many thanks for the very kind words everyone :)

 

Crazyjim - for the welds I stuck a thin strip of green stuff along the seam, and pushed small indentations into it (like welds). Airbrushed the strip (and the surrounding panels) black. I then picked out the actual weld in a steel colour paint (Vallejo air metallics steel) and finally gave the metal a black wash (GW nulen oil wash). It's a quick and easy method to get great looking results.
