He wrote many intriguing novels in his lifetime. R.I.P.

Sad to hear; love his work.

Fortunately for us, he wrote so many books we'll have plenty of reading material for years to come.

RIP, Mr. Clancy.  And, thanks for all the great entertainment.

One of my all time favorite authors.  I have read most of his offerings.  For those like me he has one last treat.  One last book, due out in time for Christmas.  Rest in peace Tom.

I enjoyed alot of his work as well.  Good lord, first Vince Flynn, now Tom Clancy.  Thank God Tedd DekKer is still alive or I would have nothing to read.

Don't forget the many movies and games his works have inspired.  I know that many people would rather read a book, which is certainly respectible.  But this man has made many other contributions to popular culture as well...and has done it with inspiration from real life military personnel and events.  Talk about giving back to your community. ;)
