Wonder if that Boss front bumper would make it easier for me to scratch a 2010/11 V6 front end? Trying to replicate a rental ragtop from the snap kit. Lower grille and side vents look closer to the V6 than the Shelby one I have. Will still need the upper grille and surround from the 2010 GT tho...

Any thoughts?

I have a feeling that the resin casters will offer the engine/trans separately, so you don't have to rob a kit.

A resin engine will cost as much (or nearly as much) as a discounted kit, so I don't see an advantage.

Heh Steve....congrats on joining the club with your '13 GT....in Grabber Blue, no less!  If I still lived out there, I'd be jamming Sunday morning on that road from Skyline Boulevard to Half Moon Bay, or 84 from Alice's Restaurant to the coast.  Mine's a convert, so the top would be down....and yes, the bikes would be buzzing around me but I wouldn't care....California Dreaming, 30 years after the last time I guess!   TIM

The bikes are still out there and still crashing at a their usual remarkable rate.  I told the insurance company that it was a secondary car and I'd probably only put 5K miles on it a year.  April to now: 13.8K.  Ooops

Yup! Kinda short for a Coyote trip, but it'll do in a pinch.

Truthfully its either ice cream or an In-N-Out Burger.  Closest one is 62.6 miles one way but...nothing else will do when you want one.  Starting to collect what I need for the build.  I have a Grabber Blue spray bomb and 2010 Mustang kit for odds n ends, and am starting to look for a suitable 18" polished aluminum wheels in 1/25.  Not hung up on P Zero tires, whatever looks good.

Ok, some reissues and modified reissues..all good and well...but where is the new tooling?  Where are the obvious items like the new Corvette Stingray, the current Viper, '14 Camaro Z/28, let alone the '15 Mustang?

some of us have come to the conclusion that there are no Calenders at Revell HQ, remember, no one in the hobby wants new cars

On a serious note, well, Revell supposedly has some big announcement this week coming, and the fact that they are doing so in conjunction/or at the Auto Show means its going to be something new, or well, that would make sense, but we know how that plays out.

My guess is its going to be the C7 Vette, which

I'm sure there's a post somewhere on here about this but I couldn't find one but I've seen some rumors of these kits being rereleased and didn't know if anyone had any info on the matter? Also any word if they will do the army car
