I'm looking forward to the boss 302 mustang,I think everyone needs to remember, they're is always new people discovering the hobby,so even though many of us have seen some of these kits umpteen times, some may be seeing them for the first time. :)

Valid point, but they also need to keep their established customers happy too ...

Revell's "established customers" are distributors and large retailers. We are not Revell's customers, we are its end users. And it's not as if ww don't already have enough kits to keep us busy through the end of March ...

End of March, is that when Q4 will be announced ?

Of coarse, people are going argue the pros and cons of Foose model kits.  But I honestly believe this will be the easiest in the series to closely replicate the accompanying rendering.  The car lends itself to lowering and tucking big wheels.  The question is, do the ones in the kit have a good enough backspace to get under the body.  Correct me if I am wrong but, I do believe there has already been a lowrider kit of this made.  I know people build them as lowriders all the time either way.  So, a bit lower shouldn't be a problem.

While we are on the subject of Foose, just how much effort would it take to duplicate his personal Ford truck built on Overhaulin'?  That's a kit I'd pay for, and I'm not even big on Ford.

Also, with the five billion Mustang kits already out, I can't believe Revell has not tried to get the jump on Round 2 with full detail 2014 Stingray and Z28 kits as well.  No offense to the Mustang guys but, I am sure there is a large market for the two new Chevy muscle cars as well.  I know it takes a lot of money to create a new tool kit but, the Z28 molds could possibly even be modified from the existing SS kit.

I am kind of hoping the retool the 1/12 10 gt500 into the 13/14. I want to build a model of my 1:1 14. I will be trying this shortly.

King Six-Only enough kits to be busy until 2017?You need to increase your stash. You need enough to be busy until you're at least 300 years old.Think of them as life insurance-you need to live that long to finish them all.

IMHO it's a good thing is that Revell is not modifying the tooling extensively to create the Foose versions of existing kits, so an optimist might be happy that the option to reissue the '68 Firebird 400, '67 Hemi Charger, etc. still exists. If the added parts don't appeal to us, they can always be replaced or left off entirely. People tend to forget not every 3'n'1 AMT kit was built using all or even some of the custom parts back in the day. There were plenty of replica stock builders back then who eschewed the custom parts, but they didn't have the internet available to broadcast their complaints.

This is only 25% of what Revell has planned for 2014, so if these don't appeal to you, there are another 30+ kits coming, one of of which might tickle your fancy.

Stearman biplane looks good to me. Seriously. Now , that Roth '57, does it really look like the first Revell "everything opens and moves" fiddley kit we were expecting ? I think not. They got an awfully good fit on that driver's side door if it is.  :o

Whomever built the mockup for that pic probably glued the door shut...:)   Surprised they dug that one out instead of just adding the Roth decals to the snap tite '57 ht.
